NEW SALON HOURS: Monday-Friday: 8 am to 4 pm Saturday: 9 am to 4 pm
Suite 117, 235 Milligan Drive (Drake Landing Plaza), Okotoks, AB
New & Revised Policies as of 2022
All prices are subject to change and do not include GST. De-matting, difficult handling fees, parasite clean-up and skunk odour eliminator fees may apply at any time.

All dogs must be on a leash while entering/exiting the salon. This ensures the safety of all staff, clients and other dogs in our care.

Business before beauty. Please give your pet the opportunity to relieve themselves prior to entering the salon.

The grooming process can take up to 2-4 hours depending on your pet's coat, behaviour and size. We ask that you wait for our text to pick up your dog. Showing up will only delay the process, causing distraction for your dog, making it more difficult and dangerous to complete.

Pets over the age of 13 are more susceptible to the stressful environment of the grooming salon. For the safety and well-being of your pet, we cannot accept new clients over the age of 13. We recommend a home groomer for very elderly dogs. *Exceptions apply*

Please check your pets for parasites. If the groomer finds any evidence of fleas or lice during the groom, the owner will be notified immediately for pick up, regardless of how far into the groom. A pro-rated grooming fee plus a cleanup/disinfecting fee will be applied.

If your pet is uncooperative during the groom and requires a second groomer to assist, an extra fee may be applied. We reserve the right to refuse service to pets that are aggressive and extremely hard to handle and groom.

In order to accommodate each pet in a timely manner, we kindly ask that you to be on time. We offer a 15 minute grace period. After that, you will be required to reschedule and late fees may apply. No shows and last minute cancellations will result in a $30 per pet charge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I expect when I arrive for my pets grooming appointment?

A: Please arrive at your pet's schedule grooming appointment no sooner than 10 minutes. You will be greeted by our Salon Assistant at the front reception area. If you are a new client to our salon, we will request that you complete our waiver/information form (found here) so we can complete your pets personal profile in our electronic system. Then you will be able to meet your pets groomer in person to discuss what style and services you would like completed. Our groomer will then take your pet straight to the bathtub and your pets spa day will commence! We will then send you a text or call once your pet is completed and we ask that you come pick them up within 30 minutes of that text.

Q: What if I can't pick up my pet within 30 minutes of completion of the appointment?

A: In order to keep the salon a stress-free environment for our pet clients, pick up is required within 30 minutes of grooming completion. Late pick-up will result in a $25.00 charge unless of course, late pick up is previously discussed and approved by our Salon Assistant. Please make necessary arrangements for speedy pick up. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Q: What is included in the full grooming package?

A: Your pet's groom commences with a warm, hydrotherapy bubble bath. A dirty dog receives 2 or even 3 baths to ensure the skin and coat is squeaky clean. Blow-drying with a high-velocity dryer can take upwards of 1 hour depending on the size of the dog or the thickness of the coat (doodles for example). Deshedding and/or finish brushing/coat straightening is next. This time varies from pet to pet but is a very important part of the process and takes time to complete. Finally the haircut is next followed by a nail trim, ear cleaning, pad shave, sanitary shave, etc.

Q: How long will my pet's grooming take?

We request 2-3 hours for small and medium dogs and 3-4 hours for large dogs and doodles. This allows additional time for pets that are difficult to groom or who are matted, occasional walk-in services, lunch/bathroom breaks for our team, proper sanitation of the salon in between pets, etc. Grooming is not a race. It takes skill, patience, perfectionism and is physically and mentally demanding. You will receive a text once your pet is completed and ready for pick up. Please do not show up prior to the text as your pet will likely be on the grooming table and when they get excited to see you,, it will just delay the process.
Please consider pre-booking your future appointments to ensure your desired date, time and favourite groomer. Should you require your dog back before 2-3 hours (or 3-4 hours for large dogs or doodles) please advise us BEFORE you book an appointment. We will try our best to accommodate to your request.

Q: What if I have to cancel my scheduled appointment?

A: No problem! Please just give us a call or email and we will be happy to reschedule. However, since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (or no-shows) will result in a $30.00 per pet charge that will be required to be paid prior to re-booking.

Q: What if it is discovered during the grooming appointment that my pet has fleas or lice?

A: To ensure the safety and health of all the pets in our care, if while grooming your furry friend we find any parasites (lice, fleas, ticks, etc.), all grooming operations will be stopped and you will be contacted for immediate pick up. We can always reschedule another appointment once your pet if free and clear of any parasites. Pro-rated grooming fees and disinfecting/cleaning fees may be applied.

Q: Can I bring my own shampoo and/or conditioner?

A: Of course! Although we use premium, all-natural shampoo and conditioner, clients are welcome to provide any vet prescribed medicated shampoos as needed. For pets with allergies, skin issues, or other sensitivities, we do offer a medicated soak or oatmeal bath. Please advise our Salon Assistant at the time of drop-off on any shampoo preferences.

Q: Do I have to tip the groomer?

A: If you are pleased with the service you have received, we encourage you to show your appreciation to your groomer. Although not required, a gratuity is a powerful way to say "I appreciate your work." Better yet, a word of mouth referral to your friends and family means the world to a small, family-owned business such as ours. We even have a special reward to clients that make successful referrals.
Please ask our Salon Assistant for more details.
